Gather around Sabrina, the Museum's storyteller and hear the folktale of Hanasaka Jiisan, "The Old Man Who Made Trees Blossom". Find out what type of flowers they were, then, join us for a fun activity and learn about spring time in Japan!

This month's story is about kittens and their brave "Mother Cat", basd on events that actually happened in New York. The story is followed by an activity to celebrate Mother's Day. Do you think Mother's Day is also celebrated in Japan? Ask Haruka & Ayumi, Japan Program Volunteers, about it.
