Boston Children's Museum serves as an invaluable resource to the many after-school programs, healthcare providers, homeless shelters and schools in the Boston metro area; too many children do not have the chance to learn outside the classroom, to play with other kids, or enjoy a carefree day of fun with their families. The Sponsored Visits Program at Boston Children's Museum opens our doors to kids who would not be able to afford a visit so that they, too, can take advantage of the opportunities for fun and hands-on learning that we provide. Our programs and exhibits teach kids how to engage with the world they live in through programming and exhibits in visual arts, theater, science, math, physical fitness, and diversity in Boston as they play with their friends and families. As funding for these critical initiatives is cut in area schools and after-care programs, Boston Children's Museum continues to expand the number of free visits we can provide to kids in need.

Through their help, we bring together the best resources of early childhood education and our unique urban environment to benefit Boston's kids.

Reservation Dates and Times for Sponsored Visits: Sponsored Visits are for Self-Guided Visits only *(exceptions with time slots only)

• Friday 11, 12, and 1
• Saturday 10, 12, and 2
• Sunday 10, 12, and 2

Sponsored Visit Qualifications
Your organization must be a non-profit organization that supports our mission and the enrichment of our museum’s core audience, children ages 0-10. Qualified affiliates are: Schools (public, private, charter, or home); preschool (federal, state or private); camp or afterschool program; child care facilities, or a non-profit children’s organization (church, shelter etc).

Submitting a Request
You may submit a request on-line or fax the downloadable form to (617) 426-1944 Attn: Group Visits. All requests must be submitted (4) weeks in advance of the requested date. *No exceptions- Your organization may only submit one request per every 12-month period (1 free visit per year).

Submitting a request does not grantee a sponsored visit. Sponsored visits are granted on economic needs and location; preference is given to Boston neighborhood programs and programs in Massachusetts.
