Kindergarten Readiness

Children are constantly learning, right from birth.  Their early years are the foundation for growth and development, and what they learn during those years depends on the experiences they have each and every day.  As adults, we recognize those experiences as play.  Play is the “work” of childhood – the way that children learn about themselves and others, to solve problems, share, and make sense of the world.

You may have brought your child to the Museum to toddle around in Playspace when she was very young.  From Playspace you might have expanded your young child’s Museum experience into Peep’s World where sand and water  provide sensory learning experiences.  And now as your child reaches 3-5 years old, Countdown to Kindergarten! will help both of you get ready to start school!
