Free Fun Friday

The Highland Street Foundation “Free Fun Fridays” program invites you to visit a designated museum or attraction for free over ten Fridays this summer and Labor Day Weekend (Friday & Saturday). Please note that the venues are free during normal business hours, and you do not need to register or obtain a ticket. Adults and children are invited to attend for free.

One Africa, Many Countries: Celebrate African Diversity and
the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa

Celebrate Africa’s diverse cultures through music, art, stories and more!

Join us as we explore some of the many countries and cultures of the African continent in celebration of the kickoff weekend of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. Taste samples of food from several different countries, dance to the rhythms of Senegal and Cape Verde, and show us your moves with a homemade soccer ball as we celebrate the diversity of African cultures right here in Boston. One Africa, Many Countries is sponsored by World Cup Boston 2010 and Boston University's African Studies Center.

Meet 60 kids from Kyoto, Japan!

60 students from Doshisha Elementary School in Kyoto are coming to Boston. They are eager to meet you! They have been practicing their English and favorite Japanese games, so they can play with you and become your friends! Please join us for welcoming these 60 Kyoto kids at Boston Children’s Museum!

Fun Games and Activities May Include:
