Make an exhibit

• Using all the resources provided (collections, quotes, pictures) select a theme and create an exhibit about Wampanoag culture

Do you know why the Mashpee and Aquinnah communities chose the imgaes on the 'NOW' page to represent them? What do you think they mean?


Evaluating Stereotypes

Collect more and evaluate them

Draw a native person (compare to earlier drawing)

Make a list of all the products that are named after native people such as; Jeep Grand Cherokee, Pontiac, Wamsutta sheets etc...

Evaluate books in your classroom... become critical readers: Find text examples that are true, false, or partially true.

Write a poem or paragraph that tells what you've learned about Wampanoag people
