The Dirty Dozen: 12 Artists & a Ton of Trash Exhibit
Opens September 5
Featuring the works of 12 New England artists, The Dirty Dozen: 12 Artists & a Ton of Trash celebrates the transformation of found objects into intriguing works of art, vividly illustrating that the things people use each day don’t have to end up in the landfill.
The 12 artists included in The Dirty Dozen used everything from old shoes and junk mail to traffic signs and soda cans to create the art on display in The Gallery at Boston Children’s Museum. The works are colorful and fun, demonstrating that beauty can be found in a variety of materials and forms. Many of the artists featured in the show have shown their work nationally.
The Dirty Dozen art show is just one of the events occurring at Boston Children’s Museum during September’s Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle Month. Please check back for more information.
