Fee:
$350 for non-members
$315 for Boston Children’s Museum members
Add $7 per person for each child or adult above the 25 included in the base fee, up to a maximum of 40 individuals.
Deposits and Payments:
A (50%) deposit of:
$175 for non-members
$157.50 for Museum members
is required when the birthday party is booked. We accept cash, checks, and major credit cards. Checks should be made out to Boston Children’s Museum.
The balance on Birthday Party payments is due a week prior to the party.
Cancellations:
Cancellations made with less than one month’s notice will result in the loss of the entire deposit. Cancellations made with more than a month’s notice will result in a loss of 50% of the deposit.
Snow Storm Cancellation Policy:
If, due to a snow storm on or around the date of your reserved party, you feel the need to cancel your party, Boston Children's Museum reserves the right to withhold any deposit if the Museum is officially open for admission on the day of the scheduled party. In the event Boston Children's Museum is officially closed, we will return your deposit or reschedule your party for a later date.
Optional Entertainment (for an additional fee):
Face Painting by the Museum’s Birthday Party Coordinator: $ 30 flat fee (two weeks advance notice requested)
Do-It-Yourself Crown or Mask-Making Kits, using wild and crazy materials from our Recycle Shop: $6 per bag (two weeks advance notice requested)
