The Boston Children's Museum exists to help children understand and enjoy the world in which they live. As an early museum experience for children, our environment is informal, but our purpose is serious.

As a privately funded non-profit institution the Museum must rely on the support and generosity of individual donors, corporations and foundations to continue supplying children and the adults in their lives with opportunities for new insights, involvement with the world, and understand of human differences and FUN.
