Boston Children’s Museum engages children and families in joyful discovery experiences that instill an appreciation of our world, develop foundational skills, and spark a lifelong love of learning. As an early museum experience for children, our environment is informal, but our purpose is serious.
As an independent, 501(c) (3) non-profit institution, Boston Children’s Museum relies on its generous donors to help make ends meet. The Museum offers the public a variety of ways to support the Museum and its mission.

A gift to the Annual Fund provides critical funding necessary for programs, groundbreaking exhibits, multicultural celebrations, teacher training, and subsidized visits for families that are not able to afford a trip to the Museum otherwise.

An Outright Gift of Appreciated Stock enables the donor to obtain substantial tax benefits. No capital gains tax is due when the Museum sells the stock, so the full value of the gift supports the Museum's work.

Thank you for your interest in Boston Children's Museum. BCM receives hundreds of requests annually for donations to support events sponsored by a wide range of local nonprofits. Because BCM is also a nonprofit organization, it is not within our means to fulfill these many worthy requests. We encourage you or a member of your event committee to purchase a Gift Membership or Gift Passes and donate them to your event. As an added incentive, people who are already BCM members can purchase a gift membership for 10% off.
