Opportunities
Since 1990, YMEC has successfully completed three full rounds of
exhibit production and travel. Subjects have ranged from memory
to games, patterns to problem solving, castles to cowboys. YMEC
strengthened the impact of these exhibits by developing partnerships
with corporations, foundations, and youth-serving organizations.
Major national partners have included The Toyota USA Foundation,
the National Science Foundation and Parent and Child Magazines.
Regional and local collaborations with businesses, libraries, schools,
community centers and other supporters of youth have also greatly
enhanced the exhibit experiences.
With exhibit venues from coast to coast, north to south, in nine
major metropolitan areas, YMEC exhibits attract an annual audience
of over four million visitors in the United States and Canada. Sponsorship
brings exposure in these markets, a range of benefits for sponsoring
institutions, and opens doors to productive relationships that serve
